The Ski Resort is one of the larger sets from the 2019 City series, as it contains 806 bricks and as many as 11 minifigures and is not priced very high. You can build quite a sizeable winter town from it. Thematically, we will create a rescue station for skiers here – a large two-story building with a place for treating the unfortunates on the ground floor and a dispatcher’s desk for mountain rescues on the first floor. The second building is a ski shop with winter equipment. We also have a small food court with hot coffee and cookies. And also a cool element is the half-pipe for snowboarders with a pole for tricks.
The vehicles that we have in the set are for rescuers – there is a scooter with a trailer, a rescue car and a helicopter. Everything is very fun.
One would like to continue this thread in subsequent sets, because from a real winter town for tourists, we have only a shop and a gastronomic point here. It would be nice to add a hotel, restaurant, equipment rental …
The set includes 11 minifigures plus a dog (German Shepherd) and a funny snowman. There are four lifeguards (including one helicopter pilot), tourists and a lady selling hot coffee and a shop assistant.
The set is positioned for 6 years and is easy to assemble. It’s a lot of fun aswell.
