The set comes from 2019 contains 1177 blocks. It was created as a concept from the Boost series, i.e. just like the original Vernie from the set 17101, it is ideal for learning coding for kids, while Vernie from 2017 is for a little younger (from 7 years). This time the lower age limit is 8 years. Then the fascination of Star Wars’s Saga appears, so everything suits. Our son is 6 years old and how he got a Droid commander half a year ago, after folding – the basic toy went to the corner – much more often played with Vernie – it was simply easier to embrace. But now when we started to do a description for you and reminded him this set is just a little crazy on its point. For a few days it has been playing – he performs missions, explore new planets and newly discovered functions and abilities of robots. At the moment it is number one among his toys.
From the set we will arrange three independent construction – A2D2, Gong Droid and the Droid Mouse. Each of them has a different mechanic of action and other functions. Unfortunately, at once we can only play one of these structures because you have to pull out Move Hub each time. This is of course a bit problematic and adult help is needed, but it works quite efficiently. The constructions have missions to be performed that rely on the arrangement of additional items and use them in tasks. The application on the phone or tablet is to handle the whole story. There is no fun without this application.
It works really great and gives a lot of joy and revealing world creation. This is one of the most creative toys in our home. We recommend.
