We do not have a lot of sets from the Harry Potter™ – (in fact, this is our only set) because our son was still too small for him, but he is slowly maturing for this series of movies, and therefore, soon there will be more sets in our collection. This year’s Lego® proposals in Harry Potter™ series are rather interesting. But as it turns out, today’s proposal has a few unique things for fans of the series. I will not write much, so as not to make a factual mistake for which the fans will tear me apart … We want to present you this small set because it is worth your attention.
The set is from 2019 and contains 121 bricks. It was not priced high, but now its price has increased – by the way, the Harry Potter™ series is an investment and usually sets that go out of production like to increase in value. Our hero has several elements desired by fans – here we have two Dementors and a beautiful Patronus stag, of course, a figure of Harry and Sirius Black himself. First of all, Patronus is interesting in terms of the combination of various structures (the horns are soft, the torso is hard) – of course, it alludes to the film and magic associated with this element (the positive energy that is released by spell for Harry materializes as a stag). The play function is precisely the ability to cast this spell in the form of a haze of the same color as Patronus.
The trees that we build in the set from the front side look nice, but from the back they do not look nice – clearly this is a set to show only from the front. To build them, different techniques had to be used as in the case of classic tree design. Of course, it is related to the magic of the series.
Overall, the impressions of this set are mixed – especially if we are not fans of the series – it is just tiny and not very playful. Certainly, our feelings for this set will warm up when we will receive other sets from the series, when this set simply starts to fit them.
