In 2018, the mountain police was one of the leading themes of the Lego® City series. Among this series, the largest and most important set we present you today – the headquarters of the Mountain Police. As you probably guessed, we live in the mountains, so we had to take it outdoors to present it to you in its natural environment.
The set looks very good. As you can see in the pictures, a lot is happening here on these two levels. We have a web launcher, two helicopters, an all-terrain vehicle, a prison from which you can plan an escape, and even a man in a tree and a panther. No wonder that after the recall, the price of this set increased and it is in demand in the aftermarket.
The structure itself is stable, which is not so obvious in many other sets we have. Also, the space inside the structure is large, which is also a big plus. Everything here is simply well thought out. Vehicles in the form of a car and helicopters (one is the police and the other criminals) are very well constructed and enjoy the eye. There is a helipad and a treasure chest. As you can see, the element of fun is present at every turn in this set.
We have seven minifigures – four are policemen – the figure of a policewoman with her hair in a cap looks especially interesting. Three figures are reserved for these bad guys – one is a prisoner, a helicopter co-pilot with a very cool headgear, and the third is a man in the tree (he is a scout). A wild cat that is kept at its post and can jump out of its place deserves a separate mention.
Overall a very extensive set with which you can do a lot. We recommend it highly.
