There are sets in the Lego® collection that give you fun just looking at them – they are usually intended for AFOL and are located in the Creator Expert tab. We do not deal with them yet because the idea of our website and profile on Instagram are sets for kids and their parents. And the set we present you today is just like that. The set with the number 60290 and simply called SkatePark was created for children and has a great potential to play.
The set itself is not big because it consists of 195 bricks. After taking out of the box, we have two bags – one is for a car and the other contains bricks for the rest of the set. It folds in approximately 30 minutes. After folding, we get a colorful playground. Everything has a warm California climate. We have a palm tree, laid back figures, not too difficult terrain obstacles. The small pick-up branded by Vita Rush refers to and fits the car from the 60218 set, which we will describe to you one day. We have a lot of Vita Rush logos and colors in this set, which we believe is consistent and simply nice. The pick-up is simple and a bit small, but we know here we have a set of some basic and inexpensive kind. The six-pack of soda looks interesting and notice how well the skater’s bottle was made. Besides, a mountain bike and a sports wheelchair are also attractive. Such details in this set make it interesting and worth the money spent. In addition, it is consistent with this year’s vision of the city, which it will slowly present to you based on the novelties of the year 2021.
The set includes 4 minifigures. Three of them are skatepark users and one is a Vita Rush employee who came by pick up. They are all smiling and colorful as the set itself. The skateboarder has a nice helmet with hair. The guys have full face helmets.
The set is colorful, fun to play and is a great base for the expansion of a modern city of 2021.
